Cooper Electric recently used telematics to help police quickly track down a stolen company van. “We were watching this live on GPS and we informed the police. We were basically telling the police which way [the thief] was turning, where he was going, how fast he was going, what road he was taking, everything.
The engine health reports are first class. When our vehicles need repairs, we are able to instruct the dealership or repair facility of the fault codes and necessary repairs. They are usually shocked that we can extract that type of granular data from our telematics systems.
