The schedule of commercial trucking industry shows has picked up again in 2022 as organizers take advantage of the fact people can once again gather safely. EnVue Telematics recently attended a show focused on commercial trucking in Indianapolis and will attend the largest gathering of fleet professionals, the 2022 NAFA Institute & Expo, in Columbus, Ohio, in April.

NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis
In early March, representatives from EnVue Telematics attended the NTEA Work Truck Show in Indianapolis. The event is one of the biggest in the country that gathers together people who design, build and use work trucks. The show offers them a chance to see the latest technology available to improve work truck fleet performance.
The one-of-a-kind event centered around the Indiana Convention Center, but also includes hotels, restaurants, sports arenas and concert venues in the surrounding area. Held from March 7-10, the Work Truck Show attracted thousands of people from the work truck industry to downtown Indianapolis.
More than 500 exhibitors showed new equipment at the show. Attendees also had the chance to hear operational improvement strategies, OEM plans and uplift solutions. The event also focused on ways to find new business opportunities and stay competitive in the modern transportation industry.
NAFA 2022 Institute and Expo
EnVue Telematics also will attend the NAFA 2022 Institute & Expo, billed as the largest gathering of fleet professionals in the country. NAFA is the world’s largest organization for fleet managers, with 2,000 members who work with corporations, public safety agencies such as law enforcement and fire departments, education, government agencies at all levels, and utilities.
The annual event, held this year from April 11-13 in Columbus, focuses on providing fleet managers with information on high-level topics that include technology, asset management and competitive priorities. The event also includes educational programming that NAFA members choose each year as being the most relevant to today’s fleet managers.
One of the event’s major focuses is on innovative products that make it possible for fleets to devise strategies that best address modern fleet concerns. Read said he looks forward to the chance to network with fleet management professionals. “This is a great opportunity to see current clients in person and have the chance to meet new ones,” Read said. “It also gives us an opportunity to evaluate potential future technologies that we can bring to our clients.”
