EnVue Telematics is an exhibitor at the upcoming FPMA Business and Operations Expo in Kissimmee, Florida. Leaders from the company will attend the conference to talk about how advanced technology can improve pest management fleet performance.
The FPMA (Florida Pest Management Association) brings together more than one thousand members who work within the FPMA’s code of ethics for the industry. The non-profit association promotes the work of pest management in the state and its role of protecting health, food, the environment and property. The FPMA also promotes education, research and training in the industry.
“We’re excited to be exhibiting at the convention and offering fleet managers in the pest management industry insights into how advanced, connected telematics systems and devices can improve fleet safety and reduce cost per mile (CPM) operating expenses,” said John Gaither, director of sales for EnVue Telematics.
Proactive vs Reactive Fleet Safety Solutions
Benefits of Telematics For FPMA Members
By creating custom fleet management solutions for over 10 years, EnVue Telematics has become a leader not only in connecting businesses with advanced technology for fleets, but also in providing consultancy services that help fleets get the best return from their telematics investment.
Some of the systems EnVue will demo include the following.
Driving Training Software
These sophisticated systems range from online driving training programs to in-cabin systems that alert drivers of dangerous situations developing both outside the vehicle and inside the cabin. This includes software that monitors drivers for behavior that indicates distracted driving.
Non-Vehicle Asset Tracking
A sometimes overlooked aspect of telematics is how it can help fleets track non-vehicle assets, including storage tanks and important equipment, allowing managers to always know their location and the best options for deployment.
Route Planning and Dispatch Software
Many types of telematics systems allow fleet managers to directly work with them, including dispatch and route optimization software that provides real-time location and performance information on every vehicle in the fleet.
Fleet Maintenance
Fleet maintenance software continuously monitor every aspect of engine performance, sending alerts at signs of problems before they lead to a breakdown. They also track all maintenance needs for each vehicle, ensuring that fleets don’t accidentally skip routine engine service.
DOT Compliance Systems
These include automated systems to ensure the proper creation and filing for ELDs, DVIR and IFTA documentation and reports. It also includes toll and bypass services that allow drivers to manage payments more efficiently without frequent, time-consuming stops.
Mark Huffman, Envue’s Enterprise Account Executive, will attend the expo with Gaither and offer information on these systems as well as on dash cameras, fuel cards and ADAS technologies.
“This is a great opportunity to connect with fleet managers in the pest management industry across Florida,” said Huffman. “Advanced technology can help pest management fleets manage risk, control costs and improve the safety of their drivers. We’re looking forward to helping solve the challenges an organization may be facing and help them find the best solution to boost their bottom line.” The FPMA Business and Operations Expo is scheduled for Jan. 18-20 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, Lake Buena Vista South, in Kissimmee.
